Curtain Wall and Commercial Glazing We Install
- Aluminum curtain wall. Glazed framing that hangs outside the building structure and spans one or more floors. We generally install YKK AP systems.
- Storefront and entrances. Ground-floor framing, aluminum doors and all-glass entrances. See our storefront glass page.
- Impact-rated systems. Curtain wall and storefront that meet Louisiana State Uniform Construction Code requirements for wind-borne debris regions.
- Reglazing and repair. Replacement of broken or failed glass in existing systems. See commercial glass repair.
Curtain Wall or Storefront?
Storefront is a framing system for ground-floor openings, usually one story, set between the floor and the structure above. Curtain wall hangs on the outside of the structure and can span several floors, so it is engineered for higher wind loads and drains water through the system. The project specifications normally name which one is required. If you are pricing a building without specifications, send us the elevations and we will tell you which system fits.
