When to Use It
The cut-to-size tool is best for straightforward glass jobs where you know the basics. Examples:
Glass tabletop for a coffee table or dining table. You measure the table, pick your thickness and edge, and get the price.
Replacement glass for a cabinet, picture frame, or display case. Common request from French Quarter customers with vintage furniture that needs new glass inserts.
Glass shelving for built-ins or floating shelves on a wall.
Pet door or specialty cutout in an existing glass panel.
Glass for any flat surface you want to protect or upgrade.
What It Handles
The tool covers all the common variables: dimensions in inches (including fractions), glass thickness from 1/8″ through 1/2″, tempered vs. annealed, edge finishes (flat polish, pencil polish, beveled), and standard shapes (rectangle, square, with options for rounded corners).

What It Doesn’t Handle (For Now)

Specialty Edge Profiles
If your project calls for a beveled, ogee, or other specialty edge, the tool walks you through the options. The visual previews help you see what each edge looks like in profile. Pricing adjusts as you change selections.
For museum-grade or UV-protective glass on artwork, those are special orders — call us directly.
Picking Up vs. Delivery
Once you order, you have two options: pick the glass up at our shop on Westbank Expressway, or have us deliver it. Pickup is free. Delivery is priced based on location.
For any piece larger than about 24″ x 36″, we recommend delivery. Glass is heavier than people think — a half-inch glass tabletop the size of a coffee table weighs 30-40 pounds, and the edges chip if you bang it on a doorway.
After You Order
Standard cut-to-size jobs are typically ready in 3-5 business days. Tempered glass takes the full timeline since tempering is a separate step. You’ll get a notification when your glass is ready.
If you ordered tempered glass and you need to make changes, you have until we start the tempering process — usually within 24 hours of order — to make adjustments. Once tempered, the glass is locked in.
